I find HD video if it's possible. In the case a video isn't available in at least 360p, I don't give it a second look.

I can make gifs much larger than the standard 500 pixels I upload them in, but since I upload exclusively to tumblr, that's the limit I have to adhere to. 500 pixels wide, 1024kb/1mb maximum.

Until I get around to making a few gif dump posts, you can check out all my uploads at http://6speedhaven.tumblr.com/tagged/gif , http://6speedhaven.tumblr.com/tagged/gifs (this link is for my less popular gifs), and then I have another blog where 99% of the gifs are mine, http://cargifs.tumblr.com .

Be warned though, the pages on the first two links have infinite scrolling, so prepare to have your bandwidth's anus annihilated. And many of the gifs you find in the third link may likely already exist in the first link.
